End Grain cutting boards are made using small blocks of wood glued together in such a way that the end grain of the wood is exposed on both sides of the cutting board. Since the knife can't cut the long fibers of the wood the board wears more slowly. The knife also does not dull as quickly.

Although the end grain method of making cutting boards is more labor intensive we believe that it achieves superior results. All of our cutting boards are end grain boards.
